Sonja Schmid
“The coolest thing is that I can do lots of different things in an environment that is more like hanging around with friends.” Sonja Schmid works as an Executive Assistant for BFFT and is therefore responsible for miscellaneous tasks. She takes care of all kinds of accounting related things, does the organizing in the office, writes articles and keeps the German headquarters informed about the latest news. What would she tell her 14-year-old self? “Stick to your dreams, even if it sometimes seems like a nightmare. Hold on and do what you want to do.”

Jean-Baptiste Renn
“The coolest thing about my job is the diversity of tasks.“ Jean-Baptiste Renn, Senior Software Test Engineer at BFFT, is working on the cars all the way to doing presentations for the management and give them input to support them with the decision finding process. His three pieces of advice to his 14-year-old-self: “Focus on your area of interest, even if people tell you it’s childish, try to enjoy life and the most important thing: go out, see the world and make as manyexperiences as you can.“

Martin Fest
“Listen sometimes to your parents, later you will know they were right“, would be the main advice Martin Fest, Support Development Engineer at BFFT of America, would give his 14-year-old self. His current project is to install for example measurement systems and other basic settings. After the final software installation and the troubleshooting the goal is an autonomously driving car. “The coolest thing about my job is to work on future technologies and later you can read something about it in newspapers.“

Nathalie Gragger

Saverio Principini
“I love so much about my job, but to pinpoint one thing, it's the sort of miracle that happens from coming into the studio one day and having nothing and then little by little seeing a song, that is basically an invisible idea that forms into reality.” For Saverio Principini, the process of creating songs that touch people's hearts is the coolest thing about working as a music producer and songwriter. “A music producer is someone who works in a recording studio and their primary goal is to arrange, record ad produce music and get it fro the raw stage of a song into a final recording. ”

Marco Sonzini
"Making music is what I love the most, being surrounded by sound pretty much every day." Marco Sonzini is responsible for capturing the recording, mixing and the choice of equipment in the Speakeasy Studios, a recording studio in Los Angeles. As a teenager he had a band but would have never thought to be working with rockstars one day. "And it's something that growing up I would have never imaginend it would become my job."
